Art in shop applications are now closed for 2026!

​ Art in Shops is an opportunity for you to display your work in Sherwood thanks to the kindness of many shops making space in their windows.It transforms the area into an art gallery for a week, visible to pedestrians and from buses and cars.
​
It not only gives you an opportunity to show your work but also to brighten up the area, show people what a creative place Sherwood is, and maybe encourage people to try the variety of art and craft projects which will be held over Sherwood Art Week. It also brings in visitors from across Nottingham and beyond.

This year's theme is 'Growing Together'.

About Art In Shops

​This year it is taking place between Saturday 6th June to Sunday 14th June.  
Applications are now closed.

  • A fee of £15 is payable as part of the application process. 
  • If for any reason your application for Art in Shops cannot be accepted, your fee will be refunded in full.  
  • Work must be set up no later than the Friday 5th June and must remain in place throughout the week until at least 6.00pm on the Sunday 14th June (10 days in total). ​​
