This year's theme is 'Growing Together'.

Please note that no workshops will be held on Saturday 13th June, this is to avoid clashing with Sherwood Open Gardens.

Applications close on Friday 20th February 2026.

About SAW workshops

As part of Sherwood Art Week, one of SAW’s aims is to run ‘taster’ workshops throughout the week. They will be held between Saturday 6th June and Sunday 14th June 2026, and we hope to offer a variety of subjects for participants to choose from.

The aim is to keep the cost of these taster sessions to £10. This is to cover the cost of promoting the workshop, and highlighting you as the workshop leader. It also covers the cost of hosting venues, and other admin costs. As Workshop Leader you will be able claim for cost of materials and other out of pocket expenses which are reasonable for the session. Sherwood Art Week is run entirely by volunteers, and due to our ethos we are unable reimburse travel and teaching costs.

Please note that no workshops will be held on Saturday 13th June, this is to avoid clashing with Sherwood Open Gardens.
