Art in Shops

The ever popular Art in Shops. The wonderful shopkeepers of Sherwood give over their windows to house a wide variety of art from local artists and makers. Great displays can be seen the whole length of Mansfield Road and onto Haydn Road.  Just imagine, papier-mâché orangutan to knitted sunshine!

Art in Homes

Put on a display of your artwork in your own window. CONTACT artinhomessaw2023@gmail.com  and we will put it on our  Map to help people find your lovely artworks.

Yarn Bombing

Bringing colour and fun to the whole event! Our theme this year is Nature.

Postcard Swap

Trading cards are a popular way of exchanging small pieces of art. You create
a set of 10 cards, postcard size, in any medium you like. We get together to display them during Sherwood Art Week and then we mix them up and swap them with others. You will get cards from different artists delivered to your door! 

Workshops

The aim is to run 'taster' workshops throughout the week. There will be such a variety of subjects to choose from, if you are a tutor and want to run a workshop in Sherwood during Sherwood Art Week please let us know. email helpwithSAW@gmail.com
