Walk
ORGANISED BY NOTTINGHAM CITY LOCAL ACCESS FORUM
Monday 24th June, 6pm (finish c 8pm)
Meet by entrance to Woodthorpe Meadow near junction of Danethorpe Vale, Edwards Lane and Mansfield Road (opposite the gym).Walk c 3-4 miles, c 2 hours. We hope to take in Woodthorpe Meadow, Sherwood’s “Garden City”, Valley Road Park and return through Woodthorpe and Woodthorpe Park.
PLEASE NOTE. Walkers are responsible for their own safety; we will walk mostly on pavements; but also some paths in parks which may be muddy; some steps and slopes; care needed at road crossings. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Open throughout Sherwood Art Week in Woodthorpe Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve (next to the Sherwood Community Centre).
Join Keeping It Wild and embark on an action-packed journey filled with nature's hidden wonders! Experience the thrill of learning how butterflies see with their super powered eyes. Follow the mesmerizing trail of our giant moth artworks along the woodland path showing the importance of moths to the world around us.
Look out for the Park Ranger scarecrow on the corner of the reserve pointing to the entrance of the trail. Scarecrow made by Aleisha Adcock and the Keeping it Wild group.

Tree of Knowledge Mosaic, Talk and slide show
Upstairs in the Winchester Bar at the Sherwood Business Centre Admission is free and is on a 'first come first served' basis, the capacity of the venue is 30 people. An illustrated talk by Anna Dixon and Mike Douglas documenting the lifespan of the Mosaic, from the inception of the idea right through to its current completion.
