Indian Block Printing Tote Bag
Join Suzanne for a 2 hour workshop and learn how to print your own Tote Bag with
Indian Wooden blocks!
This workshop is suitable for all abilities.
We will start by looking at the range of blocks available and examples of Block
Printing fabrics. We will start practicing printing on paper and fabric to perfecting your
printing and working through a mixture of techniques like colour selection, repeat
design printing, random printing, straight lines and more!
Once you feel confident with the printing you can move onto your Tote Bag.
This workshop is suited for all abilities, whether you have printed before or not, this
workshop is for everyone! Indian Block Printing does not require you to be artistic or
creative, it’s suitable for everyone so don’t be put off if you think you need to come
with lots of ideas because you don’t! Suzanne will have lots of samples and
inspiration to help you get started!
You don’t need to bring anything to this workshop other than yourself. (but you might
want to bring an apron)

Bobbin Lace Taster workshop
A great opportunity to have an introduction to the traditional craft of Bobbin Lace, with all materials and equipment provided. So, it’s a great chance to try this traditional craft with a new modern twist, without the any extra expense.
Bobbin lace is a traditional craft, which uses threads attached to bobbins and worked over a design on a pillow. To create a decorative textile items.
In this workshop you be able to make a piece of Bobbin Lace which you can make into a keyring, so you can show off your new lacemaking skills.
Workshop is suitable for all ages (recommended 7 to 107 years)
Suzanne has been making lace since she was 7 and enjoys introducing this Heritage Craft to others; and making it suitable to today’s life
